Bright New Prints by Greg Straight

There’s no rest for the wicked! As well as recently working with fellow designer Glenn Jones on a new art print collaboration, North Shore graphic designer (and father… and skater… and surfer… and all-round good guy) Greg Straight has just released a series of new art prints for summer.

Team them with white walls, crisp linen and a couple of bold accent pieces to create a fresh, summer feel all year round!

New Summer Prints by MakusArt

Kiwi-born and Aussie-based artist Justina Maku Bisset (aka MakusArt) has certainly got it together. As well as exhibiting all around Melbourne town she’s been creating loads of new work and is currently in NZ (we can’t wait to meet you Justina!). Her latest series of art prints are full of beautiful blue hues and geometric details, three of which are featured below.

Her style is refreshing, oh-so-unique and totally on-trend.

The super cool new Wave art print and Geo Skull art print from MakusArt.

Styled: Bedroom Babes

Here’s a cool, calm collection for your bedroom – inspired by a cute couple of Budgie art prints! (by artist Margaret Petchell)…

Clockwise from top left:

•  Bird-cage style Bell Basket pendant light, from Freedom Furniture.

His and hers budgies! Wilbur (in blue) circle framed art print, from endemicworld, and
Percy (in pink) circle art print, framed, from endemicworld.

Peyton Queen bed, also from Freedom.

•  Two looks for the price of one! Kip & Co reversible duvet cover, available from LETLIV.

To keep things soft and cozy – this light grey Geo Throw, from Paper Plane.

We love this woven hemp Zinnia rug by Armadillo & Co, with its subtle natural colouring. The circle shape ties in nicely with our circle art prints, too. Available from Superette.

Simple, stylish side table from Freedom.

•  Every grown-up bedroom deserves at least one ‘investment’ piece. Ours would be, in this space, the Angle Table Lamp 2.0 by NZ designers Douglas and Bec - comes in lots of amazing colours but we’ve chosen Lesley Blue here, to tie into the blues in our Wilbur and Percy circle art prints.

The coolest contemporary finishing touch are these wall hooks – the iconic Dots from Muuto (perfect for hanging up outfits, jewellery, etc). Available in NZ from Bauhaus.

Styled: A Scandi-style Dining Area

One of our awesome endemicworld customers just purchased two Inaluxe art prints, framed in black, for her dining space.
It got us day-dreaming about a light and bright, Scandi-style dining area with pops of black…

Scandi_blonde-dining-space-and-art-print

from top left:

•   We love this clean, contemporary Marque pendant light in white and beech timber.

Our inspiration for this dreamed-up dining space – two abstract art prints from Melbourne-based endemicworld artists, Inaluxe.  On the left, Message No. 9, and beside it, Message No. 15 – both prints framed in black.

Spun wall clock by Karlsson, from Let Liv. The white face with graphic black accents is the perfect addition to this modern set-up.

Talleo painted vessel from Freedom Furniture, in a sunny yellow.

Nice weighty ceramics in Midnight and Canary colours (to tie in with the colours in our Inaluxe art prints), part of the Jett range at Freedom Furniture.

The beautiful NZ-made Plateau table, by NZ furniture designers IMO.

•   Also from IMO, the very cool, very unique little A2 stool. It comes in a huge range of colour finishes, but we’ve opted for a natural ply, with black powder-coated crossrail. LOVE!

and finishing off this look, the casual-cool style of the Bradford floor rug, also from Freedom.
