This was on Queen Street the other day, old clothing scarps and material offcuts wrapped around trees and rubbish bins.
Our guess is Copenhagen, climate change… or maybe someone just wanted to spruce up this part of AKL. Give us the low down if you know what this was about. If you did it… cool.
i don’t know but – is kind of like knittaplease (they did some street work in sydney recently). Cool anyway

thanks for the info maila, we like these random acts of creativity that make you stop on your daily routine
It was an action by Oxfam to raise awareness about climate change. It was put up on the 12 dec, same day as the conference started in Copenhagen. It’s still there! 🙂
(yes, I had a piece in it)
Hi Knitty Graffity, nice work, lets hope the awareness eventually turns into action.
So you must know who is doing the ones around Devonport ferry building too then?
Haha, the ones with messages on them are mine, but I have no idea who have put up the stripy ones. Would love to find out, though! I have put up pieces all around Devonport, not just the wharf. Take a walk! Or check my blog
