Mine is Arohanui – when you say ‘love’ in English, it can feel somewhat one dimensional but Arohanui means so much more like big love, immense love, love of family – a beautiful word with so much meaning 🙂

The very first Maori word I learned when I came from the UK was ‘wahanui’ (big mouth)
My darling said it meant lovely lady, it took years before someone told me it’s real meaning.
So yes that would be my favourite, but I do love ‘aroha’.

These are rad! My favourite is probably tika which means just or right but I also really love the Maori word for breath, which is ha.
