A Grey Lynn local and pioneer of the New Zealand graffiti scene, artist Dan Tippett’s work can be spotted all over the area and further. From street art to camper vans, illustrations for Fat Freddys music videos to the clean black and white screen prints he is known for, Dan definitely like’s to keep things fresh.
‘FFD Animation’ styled below is an original screenprint from his recent endemicworld show ‘Out Standing in My Field’. It’s not hard to believe it was created using aerosol given Dan’s years of experience with a spray can but the level of precision and detail is still super impressive. Street style art doesn’t just belong on the streets framed the right way and in the right setting, this piece looks as though it was made for this space.
