On Friday the 15th of June we celebrated the opening of Erika Pearces exhibition ‘I Am Wahine’. The exhibition opened with a karakia for the artwork & the exhibition space lead by Muna Lee and Troy Hart-Webb, followed by a waiata sung by Muna’s daughter Te Manu, a very special and fitting way to open such a show.
Thank you to everyone who came along and showed your support, it was an awesome turn out and a great vibe. ‘I Am Wahine’ is open until Monday 25th of June, 62 Ponsonby Road. Please make sure you come along and see these beautiful pieces for yourself.
