On Thursday the 12th of March we celebrated the opening of Last Light by Margaret Petchell, a new series of paintings that are a departure from her signature style of animal portraits with stark white backgrounds. Margaret’s new paintings of birds have been painted into lush New Zealand forest and trees and golden sunset filled landscapes.
Thank you to all those who came along to the opening, it was great to celebrate a new direction of work for Margaret and enjoy a delicious cocktail from the team at Victor Gin.
Last Light is showing until March 23rd, the gallery is open Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm.
